Fish strike at dawn
This Maui fishing charter is not for the faint of heart. “ACTION” runs for several hours, in the dark, in order to get that ‘first light bite’ that can produce great catches of mahi mahi, tuna and the occasional marlin.
Hawaii game fish are often found schooling around one of the many Fish Aggregation Devices or weather buoys located in the waters off Maui, Lanai, Kaho’olawe, and Molokai.
The more productive buoys are located farther out than can be fished on shorter Maui sport fishing charters. These waters are often a bit rougher, so “ACTION” is probably not the appropriate charter for those with bad backs, knees, or weak constitutions.
